You’ve been there more times than you can count. You’ve eaten their stacks of American-style pancakes, covered in an obscene amount of maple syrup, and you’ve been dreaming about them ever since. Yes, we’re talking about The Breakfast Club. And yes, they’ve just opened up a new branch in Covent Garden.

Popular, and for good reason, these guys now proudly boast venues across Hackney, London Bridge, Spitalfields and even as far as Oxford, with this being the 15th string in their oh-so-delicious bow. Offering classic 80s caf vibes, including checkered floors, simple furnishings and classic booth seating, it’s perfect for relaxed all-day dining (as well as a spot of people-watching from the tall windows).

Like the other venues, the new opening will be a testament to the brand’s pure adoration of morning munch. We’re talking greasy spoon favourites, like a full English or eggs any way you like ‘em, as well as signature dishes, such as the ever-famous fried chicken, bacon and waffles. Vegans won’t be hard done by either, as there’s a vast range of plant-based options, from scrambled tofu to veggie bangers. And if you fancy a drink? Steamroll into the day with coffee, tea or smoothies.
